Momentos is a documentary project that explores the memories of a Mexican family and their relationship to a house in unincorporated East Los Angeles. This house, that has raised three generations, continues to immortalize the emotional history of my family as we age and move further away from those moments of joy. The shared video snippets capture emotions unclouded by the layered veils of familial life that often distract us when we live through them the first time. Momentos, and this house, exists as a reminder of a collective history of the people who created what we call HOME.
