Francisco Ramon Tejeda is a multidisciplinary artist based out of unincorporated East Los Angeles. Drawing inspiration from his city, family, and the stories that connect the two, his work seeks to capture stories that encourage people to explore their relationship with personal histories and shared realities.
Recently, he photographed Tecata (2021), an official recipient of the Cannes Indie Shorts Awards. His work on Wilderness saw an official selection of the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (2020), The Social Justice Film Festival (2020), and HOLA Mexico Film Festival, presented by HBO and The Hollywood Foreign Press Association. Francisco also served as a producer on En Llano, En Llamas (2021), a Deutsche Bank, Frieze Los Angeles Film Award Selection.
During the pandemic, Francisco worked as an audio editor on For the Time Being , a podcast about 20-something year olds navigating the world after graduation. He is currently working on a photo project that explores the emotional remnants of those who have left our lives.
